“How do we get Dreamweaver ported to Linux? There is Aptana, Quanta, Kompozer, and Bluefish, but not much else in the way of actual, usable web development platforms for Linux. The Linux platform is so compelling for everything else, and there aren’t many web developers left who haven’t fired up a Linux workstation. So what gives?” – digg

There is a new foundation that has been formed called the Foundation for a Drug-Free World. It’s goal is obvious as laid out in it’s name, it’s purpose is to handle the many on drugs today and many more starting on drugs every day. From students partying on ecstasy for days to the children turned ritalin junkies from over-the-counter medicine resold by their classmates, they are on a drive to stop the epidemic.

Key in their campaign is a series of educational booklets with one booklet covering the scope of drugs in society, and nine others each featuring a specific drug.

With one of the most land embrasive and pioneer tours of any kind to date, the Scientology Volunteer Ministers are bringing effective help to thousands across 6 continents with their many tours in areas such as Brazil, Poland, Russia, Kin Men and, featured here, Suva in Fiji.

Featured in an article on Scientology Today (the Church of Scientology’s press office) from 6 October of this year, the Goodwill tour (a tour from the Church of Scientology that travels out to lands far and wide and offers the help and services of Scientology Volunteer Ministers) is Suva, Fiji with the Ministry of Sports assisting with the athletes of the country.

They are providing them the Scientology technology called “Assists,” described in the Scientology Handbook as:

In Scientology an assist is an action undertaken to help a person confront physical difficulties. If a child has fallen and hurt himself, an assist can help him overcome the trauma. If a person has a toothache or has had a tooth pulled, an assist can help relieve the pain. When people are ill, assists can ease the discomfort and speed recovery. Even broken bones respond to assists. These and many other conditions can be improved by application of procedures classified under this heading of “Assists.”
